The Spark: Fasting Bag Initiative

It began with a group of medical students at the University of Gezira in 2004. A small initiative named the "Fasting Bag" planted the seeds for what would soon become a fully-fledged organization.

Official Foundation

Hayat Charitable Association was formally established, expanding the scope of our work to ensure continuous, year-round support for orphans and vulnerable families.

Gezira Relief Initiative

The association played a pivotal role in establishing the Gezira Relief Initiative to aid flood victims, extending our emergency relief efforts as far as Sennar.

A Growing Family

From 12 medical students to over 500 active volunteers across all faculties, supporting over 200 registered families in Wad Medani today.

Create a sustainable system of projects aimed at providing support and assistance to families of orphans and the needy, and organizing programs and events to develop the knowledge and skills of active and affiliated members, elevating the level of voluntary and charitable work within the communities targeted by the association.

Contribute to alleviating community suffering through organizing specific projects and activities such as Ramadan meals and health convoys.
